Food and Agriculture Organization
After a competitive bidding process, we were extremely happy to be awarded the contract to raise the visibility of The World Banana Forum – a vital division of the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization.
On a year on year basis, this was achieved with significant success, with users from organic search up from 741 in 2016, to 24,321 in 2017, an increase of 3,182%.
This was achieved by both optimising existing content and creating new pages, complemented by a series of PDF downloads and a number of extremely popular webinars.
This helped raise the profile of the organisation considerably, expanding their reach across the industry.
Whisky Live is the pre-eminent event in every whisky lover’s calendar. We were asked with raising awareness and ticket sales for the 2017 show at very short notice and with a tight media spend.
However, by using targeted social media marketing – including Facebook Lookalike Audiences – we achieved a return on investment of 1,213%.
Unsurprisingly, the client was extremely pleased with these results! We are now looking forward to supporting the next Whisky Live event, and building on this success even further.
Again, the goal for http://www.promusa.org was to improve traffic and visibility for a site in the field of science communication. This time, much of our effort was spent on technical auditing – there were numerous issues with the site’s code and structure – and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
The latter looked at overall usability, concentrating testing new menu and navigation layouts and alternative copy variations. All KPIs for the project were exceeded comfortably, with traffic volumes in particular over 45% above the target.
The Laundry Lady
Our work with The Laundry Lady has focused on content. As the site has grown so has its traffic – and the business itself. The Laundry Lady’s services have expanded into several new areas over the last two years, changes that we have aided with new, target pages, appropriate on-page optimisation, as well as the technical support necessary to keep the site running as smoothly as possible.
The Laundry Lady lady has gone from ranking for search queries from users with a specific location, and low-volume local queries such as “laundry services gold coast”, to ranking well for national, high-volume queries. This has resulted in a large growth of organic traffic, with an increase of 132% YOY between 2016 and 2017.
We are very proud to have been working with Lawnmowers Direct, the online trading name of Bartram Mowers, since 2012. In SEO years, this is quite some time, and we have collaborated on numerous site redesigns and migrations, and weathered countless storms in the form of algorithm updates from Google and other search engines.
Throughout this time we have delivered continual year on year organic traffic growth. We have also carried out successful CRO campaigns, delivered high quality content gained national press coverage.
